When does the Summit begin and end?
The summit will begin on Friday, April 22. We will return to campus on Sunday, April 24.
What do I need to do before the Summit?
First, please submit the LEAD Summit Contract. Secondly, complete this form to provide information about your housing and dietary preferences. Please check your e-mail for other tasks that need to be completed.
Where will the Summit be?

Can I return to campus before Sunday?
We encourage attendees to stay for the entire Summit. Please contact us if you have any questions about the schedule.
What will we do during the Summit?
During the Summit, participants will attend 2 panels on diversity and leadership, 4 workshops on diversity, and 4 workshops on leadership. There will also be time to bond, reflect, and relax. Please see the agenda for details.
What do I need to bring?
Please bring the following with you:
- 2 Outfits
- Notebook and Pen
Will I have free time during the Summit?
Yes, there is some free time during the Summit on Saturday evening. You will also have time to relax during meals. Please see the agenda for more information.
Can I bring my own snacks or drinks?
We'll have snacks and drinks for you throughout the weekend, and all meals are covered. No alcoholic beverages are allowed.
Can I get extensions on my assignments to account for the Summit?
Professors may grant extensions on a case-by-case basis. If you would like to request an extension and need proof that you are attending the Summit, please let us know.
Will wi-fi be available?
Yes, wi-fi will be available.
Will there be post-Summit events?
Yes, we will have follow-up training programs after the Summit. We will also coordinate reunion events for the Summit attendees.
